The module functionality is available in two separate modes: Function analysis and T1 analysis.

• the Function analysis mode is intended for providing ventricular function quantification on the basis of a set of short axes by way of contouring the region of interest (ROI). Contours may be built in the manual and the semi-automatic mode. The ventricular parameters are evaluated on the basis of the contours built.

  Left ventricular function analysis based on Simpson’s rule is performed for MR modality series with images oriented along the short axis of the heart.

• the T1 analysis mode provides for quantification of the T1 relaxation time (longitudinal relaxation time) of such tissues as the myocardium. The results are shown on the parameter map. With the view of images analysis, the DICOM Viewer provides an opportunity to analyze such sequences as MOLLI, ShMOLLI, SASHA.
