2.33. Synchronization by a Point

To choose the slices in all the windows that are the closest to the point selected, use the Sync by point  tool. To synchronize, choose a reference point in one of the viewer windows. You will see crosshairs at this point. The synchronized windows will show the slices that are the closest to the point chosen; you will see crosshairs at the closest point of the synchronized slice.

If the reference point is not present on the synchronized slice, the crosshairs shown will have a black spot in the centre

The slice thickness is determined by the modality.
