3.3. Model Positioning Tools

3.3.1 Model Shift

To activate/deactivate the tool, click the Model shift PIC keys button on the toolbar or use the image context menu. By default, the tool is disabled. The tool allows you to drag the model with the mouse, holding the left button.

This tool is also available from the image context menu and from the Volume main menu item.

3.3.2 Model Rotation

Activate/deactivate the Model Rotation PIC tool by clicking the left/right/middle mouse button. By default, the tool is active. To continue work with this tool, use the button with which the tool was activated. To learn more about tool control, see Section 1.14.

Note that the initial point of the cursor does not affect the rotation. If the cursor is moved vertically, the image is rotated round the horizontal axis. If the cursor is moved horizontally, the image is rotated round the vertical axis. That is, the image follows the cursor. If the cursor moves along a slanting line, the image slants the same way.

This tool is also available from the image context menu and from the Volume main menu item. Activation is only possible with the left mouse button.

3.3.3 Model Scaling

The tool allows you to zoom the model with the mouse, holding the button. Move the cursor up to zoom in or down to zoom out.

Activate/deactivate the Model Scaling PIC tool by clicking the left/right/middle mouse button. To continue work with this tool, use the button with which the tool was activated. To learn more about tool control, see Section 1.14.

This tool is also available from the image context menu and from the Volume main menu item.
