2.12. Simultaneous Work in Multiple Series Windows
In the Image viewer tab, you can select multiple series windows simultaneously. Selecting multiple windows allows you to apply tools that support multiple series windows to all selected windows at once, for example, to flip images or rotate them by a specified angle.
To select multiple series windows, left-click their window tabs one after another while holding down the Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS) key on the keyboard. The last selected series window becomes the current window.
Clicking the tab of a selected window again while holding down the Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS) key deselects that window. If only one series window is selected, clicking its tab again while holding down the Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS) key does not deselect it, since one window is always selected by default in the Image viewer tab.
To select all series windows in the Image viewer tab, press Ctrl+A (Command+A for macOS). Selecting all series windows does not change the current window. If the Image Stitching window was selected before pressing Ctrl+A (Command+A for macOS), the Image Stitching window is deselected, and the first series window in the upper-left corner of the tab becomes the current window.
The tabs of selected windows are highlighted in blue. Both the tab and the border of the current series window are highlighted in blue. On the series panel, only the series thumbnail corresponding to the current window is outlined in blue.
To change the current window after selecting multiple windows, left-click inside one of the selected series windows. The multiple window selection is retained, and the clicked window becomes the current window.
Actions available for a single window only are applied to the current window:
- adding an image to the print list;
- playing series images;
- opening a series in the perfusion analysis module;
- opening a series in the Image Stitching mode;
- opening a series in the volume reconstruction tab;
- opening a series in the multiplanar reconstruction tab.
The multiple series window selection is cleared in the following cases:
- a series window tab is clicked without holding down the key Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS);
- an unselected series window is clicked inside, with or without holding down the Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS) key;
- the Image Stitching window tab or the area inside the window is clicked, with or without holding down the Ctrl key (or the Command key for macOS) key.
After the multiple series window selection is cleared, the clicked window becomes the current window.
