The DICOM Viewer allows you to select predefined window layout templates in the Dentistry tab. The appearance of the selection button may vary depending on the selected template. To change the template, click the selection button and select the desired option from the drop-down menu. The current template is highlighted in blue.

The following templates are available:

  • PIC MPR 2 columns: MPR section plane windows (axial, coronal, and sagittal) are arranged in 2 columns in the tab;
  • PIC MPR 2x2 + 3D: MPR section plane windows (axial, coronal, and sagittal) and a volume reconstruction window are arranged in 2 columns in the tab;
  • PIC MPR 2x2 + Curve: MPR section plane windows (axial, coronal, and sagittal) and a curvilinear reconstruction window are arranged in 2 columns in the tab;
  • PIC MPR 3x2 (TMJ): two independent groups of MPR section plane windows (axial, coronal, and sagittal), arranged horizontally for viewing the right and left temporomandibular joints (TMJ);
  • PIC MPR 4 columns (TMJ)": a main group of MPR section plane windows and two groups of MPR windows for viewing the right and left temporomandibular joints (TMJ);
  • PIC MPR 4 columns (TMJ) + 3D: a main group of MPR section plane windows, a volume reconstruction window, and two groups of MPR windows for viewing the right and left temporomandibular joints (TMJ);
  • PIC MPR 4 columns (TMJ) + Curve: a main group of MPR section plane windows, a curvilinear reconstruction window, and two groups of MPR windows for viewing the right and left temporomandibular joints (TMJ);
  • PIC MPR 2x2 (axial) + 3D + Curve slices: windows for the axial MPR section plane, volume reconstruction, straightened curve unfolding, and curve slices.
PIC Templates with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) windows do not automatically position the images on the joints. The user sets the image positions manually.

To specify the template that will be selected automatically when the Dentistry tab opens, click the window layout template selection button. Select Set the default layout template... from the drop-down menu. In the Layout settings dialog box that opens, select the template to be applied by default when the tab opens from the drop-down list. Click OK to apply the changes or CANCEL to cancel them.
