4.6 Image stitching mode

If a the study contains several series that are the results of scanning sections of an extended area, then such series can be fused into one in the "stitching" mode. The mutual arrangement of images from different series is determined automatically according to the scanner data.

To "stitch" images:

  1. Open the study containing the series that need to be "stitched" in the series fusion window.

  2. Make a series fusion. If the image does not fit in the window, use the image positioning tools Zoom and Pan (see Section 4.5).

  3. Click the PIC Image stitching mode button on the toolbar. The image will change as shown in Fig. 4.12 (the right-hand image is the image after "stitching").

In the "stitching" mode, the Adjust W/L tool applies to the entire series.
