PIC In Coronary Artery Analysis window, diagnosis can only be established on the basis of CT series. The anomalies detected should be studied using the original images in the Image Viewer window.

The DICOM Viewer contains the Coronary Artery Analysis Module to analyze the coronary vessels. Its functionality is basically the same as that of the Vessel Analysis module.

An advantage of the Coronary Artery Analysis module is the automatic detection of the aorta. The central line of the coronary artery is cut off at the entrance to the aorta.

The features of the Coronary Artery Analysis module are:

  1. Only the CT series are suitable for analysis.

  2. The module does not contain the bone subtraction functionality.

  3. Only coronary arteries are available on the vessel list.

To open a series in the Coronary Artery Analysis window, click the Coronary Artery Analysis PIC button on the toolbar. To select the tab location (in the current window, in a separate window or in the full screen mode), click on the arrow on the right side of the button. To open the Coronary Artery Analysis window in a new tab in the current window, click on the button. The process may take some time.

The Coronary artery analysis tab comprises the windows with Axial, Coronal, and Sagittal plane sections, as well as the 3D view window. In the 3D view window, you see a 3D model and a standard space orientation panel (for details see Section 3.3). In the Involute curve window, the vessel involute is displayed.
